News Summary

Women’s Golf Day (WGD) is launching a series of Elevated Events starting on March 8, 2025, coinciding with International Women’s Day. These innovative events aim to foster community and networking among women golfers while promoting inclusivity in the sport. With plans for collaboration with major golf happenings throughout the year, WGD encourages facilities to participate in its growing global initiative that has already reached over 1,350 locations worldwide, providing opportunities for all women to engage in golf.

Women’s Golf Day Launches Exciting Elevated Events for International Women’s Day!

Get ready to swing into action because Women’s Golf Day (WGD) is rolling out a fabulous series of Elevated Events, curated by the brilliant mind of founder Elisa Gaudet and her amazing team! The events are designed not just for golfing but also for bonding, networking, and pure fun.

Kick-Off Bash on March 8, 2025

Mark your calendars because the WGD Signature Series is set to kick off with a lively community event on Saturday, March 8, 2025, perfectly timed to celebrate International Women’s Day. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

The event will unfold at The Park West Palm Beach, where around 60 enthusiastic women are expected to gather for a day of golf and socializing. What better way to honor this special day than by creating connections and celebrating women in sport?

Focus on Accelerating Action

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is “Accelerate Action,” and it couldn’t be more fitting. WGD is fully committed to accelerating the opportunities available for women in golf, creating a more inclusive environment for all.

A Year Full of Events

But wait, there’s more! WGD plans to hold more Elevated Events throughout the year, linking them with major happenings such as PGA Tour tournaments and other key events on the calendar.

Every event will pair golf—welcoming players of all skill levels—with engaging social activities. Expect to see speakers and panelists arranged by the WGD team, because providing valuable insights will only enhance the experience for attendees.

Creating Opportunities and Friendships

The goal of WGD is clear: bring women together to foster not just friendships, but also important business connections. By creating a platform that encourages participation, WGD is making strides toward a more approachable golf scene.

Join the Celebration!

Golf facilities interested in hosting their own WGD event can now sign up for the weeklong celebration from May 27 to June 3, 2025. This is a golden opportunity to join in on a global initiative recognized as the fastest-growing female golf development program.

Since its start in 2016, WGD has exploded in popularity, reaching over 1,350 locations in a staggering 85 countries. Last year alone, approximately 800 events took place during Women’s Golf Day week, attracting participants from around the globe.

A Welcoming Environment for Women

For those who participated in last year’s celebrations at venues like the Palm Beach Par 3, they surely enjoyed the lovely 9-hole scramble and the lessons for newcomers to the sport. Designed by Hall of Fame champion Raymond Floyd, this location is notable for its warm and welcoming environment specifically aimed at women golfers.

Organizers encourage attendees to wear red and white and to share their experiences on social media, turning this day into a vibrant online celebration as well!

Join the Movement!

Whether you’re a golfing pro or just starting out, participation in Women’s Golf Day events is open to everyone, no matter their background (as long as local laws allow it). So why not get involved and be a part of something much bigger than just a game? Join the Women’s Golf Day movement and help elevate the role of women in golf!
