Applications for various student leadership positions are now open, offering a golden opportunity for students to participate in shaping their campus experience.

Roles You Can Apply For

Students interested in making a difference can apply for several important roles. These positions include student body president, vice president, campus governors, lieutenant governors, as well as seats on the SG Senate and council. The student body president and vice president will represent all three USF campuses, while the other roles are specific to individual campuses, allowing for a more tailored focus on local issues.

Ava Moreno, the Student Government Tampa governor, shares her journey of serving as a vital liaison between different student organizations and university departments. Having been involved with SG for three years, she started as the chair of the Campus Council. In that role, Moreno not only participated in budget distribution but also engaged in discussions regarding university funding and management directly with USF officials. Her experience has been nothing short of transformative, enabling her to give back to the community she loves.

Two exciting debates for presidential and gubernatorial candidates are scheduled at the Marshall Student Center’s Oval Theater on February 17 and February 19. It’s the perfect chance for voters to see their prospective leaders in action!

When it’s time to cast your vote, you have options. Voting is set to take place both online and in-person from March 3 to March 6. There will be two polling booths available each day during this voting period from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., ensuring all students have a chance to make their voices heard.
