The Straz Center for the Performing Arts has just announced its lineup for the highly anticipated 2025-2026 Broadway season, and it’s packed with shows that are sure to delight audiences of all ages. Get ready for a thrilling mix of nine major Broadway shows—some new, some returning fan favorites. This season will take place in the stunning Carol Morsani Hall, a venue beloved for its intimate setting and excellent acoustics. The season kicks off in mid-October with the much-anticipated return of “The Wiz”, running from October 14-19, 2025. Experience the vibrant retelling of a classic tale filled with unforgettable songs and dance moves that will have you humming along!
Following that, don’t miss “Water for Elephants”, scheduled to grace the stage from October 28 to November 2, 2025. Adapted from the bestselling novel, this production promises to bring the magic of the circus to life in a spectacular fashion.
As we move into November, make room for “Kimberly Akimbo”, running from November 18-23, 2025. This exciting Tony Award-winning show tells a heartwarming and comedic story that is sure to resonate with audiences.
Just in time for the holiday season, the 2024 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, “The Outsiders”, will take center stage from December 27, 2025, to January 4, 2026.
