Highsmith’s putting stood out as he employed a Scotty Cameron 009M tour prototype. Making over 200 feet of putts over the weekend, he ranked seventh in strokes gained putting and third in putts per GIR (Greens in Regulation), proving that his short game was just as strong as his long game. Key moments included significant birdie putts: an impressive 18-footer at the fourth hole and another 18-footer at the 11th, plus a crucial 15-footer at the 13th.
