A report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows a staggering 78% increase in interactions with Chinese migrants in Florida, with numbers leaping from 406 cases in 2020 to 723 in 2024.

30 migrants, primarily of Chinese descent, crammed inside a U-Haul truck. Residents had reported witnessing a woman being forcibly taken into a vehicle, which triggered a police alert.

23 undocumented migrants, with additional individuals found in a nearby Toyota Corolla. The police chief noted that it appears these migrants likely arrived by boat near Coral Gables and were transported in the van to evade detection.
