If you’re looking for things to do, you’ve come to the right place. From thrilling festivals to mouth-watering food events, there’s something for everyone this spring!
First off, don’t miss the Food and Wine Festival happening at Busch Gardens. Running until May 18, this festival is a culinary delight that you won’t want to skip. Enjoy diverse cuisines and sip on exquisite wines while soaking in the beautiful views at the park. There will be plenty of entertainment and festivities to keep the good vibes rolling.
Sports fans are in for a treat this Wednesday as the Tampa Bay Sun take on the Spokane Zephyr. So gather your friends, grab your jerseys, and head out to cheer for your favorites. It’s a perfect excuse for a fun outing under the lovely Florida sky!
While you’re out and about, take advantage of the many state parks and springs that are open for visitors. Pack a picnic, embrace the great outdoors, and explore the charming trails and refreshing waters that Central Florida has to offer. It’s the perfect way to experience nature and reconnect with friends and family.
Don’t forget to check the forecast before you head out! Meteorologist Ally Blake has indicated that we might start our mornings with a bit of chill, with temperatures hovering in the 40s and 50s. But fear not! As the day progresses, we’re looking at highs near 80 degrees, with lots of sunshine brightening up everyone’s mood. It’ll be a delightful day to enjoy the fresh air.
SeaWorld Orlando is in on the fun too, as they’ve added some exciting new performers to their Seven Seas Food Festival concert series for 2025. You’ll be able to enjoy various music genres, including R&B, reggae, rock, and country. Kickoff the concerts with the talented LaCrae on February 21, and look forward to more amazing artists like Shaggy and Luis Fonsi throughout the festival.
If New Orleans food and drink vibe is what you’re after, head to SeaWorld Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration. Transforming the Wild Arctic Plaza, this feast runs from February 27 to March 9, serving up festive flavors that’ll make you feel like you’re partying on Bourbon Street. It’s a great way to celebrate culture and enjoy delicious food!
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the Savor St. Pete food festival celebrating its 12th anniversary on November 2-3. This event will showcase some of the best chefs and restaurants in the Tampa Bay Area at Vinoy Park. General admission starts at $115, while VIP tickets are available for $145. It’s a food lover’s paradise!
And let’s not forget the Florida State Fair that runs from February 6 to 17, 2025. With unique offerings from baked ziti on a stick to BBQ stuffed waffles and fried pickle mac and cheese, there’s no shortage of indulgent treats! Adventurous eaters will particularly enjoy the Gourmet Chocolate Bacon Cheesecake on a Stick and the Southern Comfort Funnel Cake!
