Why the Excitement?
Fans are eagerly anticipating this tour as it represents the band’s resilience and ability to overcome challenges. Brian Johnson’s return in 2018, after stepping away due to severe hearing loss, has been a major highlight for fans. His presence, along with the release of the critically acclaimed album Power Up in 2020, has fueled excitement for the upcoming tour.
AC/DC’s Power Up album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and features popular tracks like “Realize” and “Shot in the Dark.” The album received Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance for “Shot in the Dark,” and the band aims to highlight this new music during their performances.
A Celebrated Presence
The band recently reunited for the Power Trip festival in Indio, California, where they electrified the audience with classic hits such as “Back in Black” and “Thunderstruck.” Their ability to connect with fans through timeless music is a key reason for their ongoing success.
